I worked with Elizabeth for 3+ years, both as teammates and as her manager. She continuously impressed me with her quality and efficiency of work. She is a capable and talented UX designer. Even coming into the team in a junior role, she was able to take ownership of large-scope projects, and quickly earned the trust and respect of our entire team, including other designers, engineers, product, and senior leadership. She was given increasing responsibility, including modernizing our entire web and mobile design system, and excelled. She aligned our company onto a set of primitive and semantic tokens, built a dynamic and responsive component library in Figma, and provided clear usage guidelines that enabled developers and product staff to rapidly develop on top of them. Even before AI we were shipping features every week on the back of this design system. Elizabeth is also a clear communicator and deep thinker. She thinks critically about work that is assigned to her, sometimes pointing out flaws in the assignment that end up shaping the larger product for the better. She advocated for clearer customer personas and participated in user interviews to help define those. She was also an early adopter of agentic tools, sharing early demos and prototypes she took initiative to produce with Figma Make and Cursor.
